HR Manager | Evans Mills, NY, United States | On-site This employer is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. The Role • Champion a strong safety culture and promote employee well-being through leadership accountability and proactive engagement. • Drive a positive employee experience and high engagement by identifying and escalating employee experience defects and implementing engagement strategies. • Advise management on HR policies, facilitate training sessions, and support department goal development and execution. • Execute and support communication and change campaigns for strategic HR and business priorities, collaborating with HR stakeholders to deliver consistent messaging. • Lead employee relations investigations, partnering with relevant teams to summarize findings and provide recommendations. • Support recruitment efforts, develop staffing and retention strategies, and manage onboarding, PIPs, and IDPs. • Coach on disciplinary and performance management actions, and consult with leaders on talent assessment and planning processes. • Oversee leave administration, provide guidance for ADA interactive processes, and support the Workers Compensation Program. What You'll Need • Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a professional (non-administrative) role. • Experience consulting with and advising management teams. • Demonstrated strong foundation in core HR fundamentals and legislation concerning employment (ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, Title VII). • Working knowledge of MS Office software, HRIS familiarity, and effective presentation skills. • Prior employee relations experience and experience in a collective bargaining environment is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
