We are seeking dedicated Intervention Tutors to join an organisation committed to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a supportive, community-driven environment.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science for children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD experience in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching Core Subjects (Maths, English, and/or Science).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and two professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and Creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
