About the Role
Our staffing firm is partnering with a leading Fortune 100 retail organization to identify a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of technology infrastructure and hardware deployment initiatives across a large, multi-site enterprise environment.
This role is ideal for a project professional who thrives in fast-paced deployment environments and enjoys coordinating teams, vendors, schedules, equipment, and site activities to ensure successful project delivery. Projects may include retail technology rollouts, supply chain and distribution facility upgrades, infrastructure modernization, construction-related technology deployments, and other enterprise technology initiatives.

Job Description
The Project Coordinator will provide day-to-day support for technology hardware and infrastructure deployment projects. Working with cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will help manage schedules, track deliverables, coordinate vendors, monitor project risks, and maintain project documentation to ensure successful implementation across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Coordinate project activities across technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, field teams, construction partners, and site contacts.
  • Track project deliverables and ensure accountability for deadlines and commitments.
  • Support technology procurement, equipment deployment, installation activities, vendor coordination, and site readiness efforts.
  • Identify project risks, schedule impacts, resource constraints, and dependencies, and facilitate mitigation or escalation as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and financial tracking records.
  • Communicate project health, risks, decisions, milestones, and action items to stakeholders.
  • Independently manage assigned projects or workstreams while collaborating with Project Managers on larger initiatives.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by supporting standardized project management practices, processes, and tools.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of project coordination, project support, or project delivery experience.
  • Experience supporting technology, hardware, infrastructure, field technology, construction technology, or other physical technology deployment projects.
  • Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting.
  • Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholder groups, including internal teams, vendors, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, or deployment activities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project risk identification, mitigation, and escalation processes.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and lookup functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multi-site technology or infrastructure deployments.
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement, equipment installation, deployment activities, and site readiness efforts.
  • Experience supporting projects within retail, construction, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution center environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-related technologies such as:
    • Networking
    • Structured cabling
    • Wireless technologies
    • Compute environments
    • Power systems
    • CAD and construction documentation
  • Experience working with external technology, installation, construction, or field-service vendors.
  • Exposure to enterprise technology rollouts within large-scale physical locations.
  • PMP, CAPM, or related project management training is a plus.
  • Engineering or deep infrastructure expertise is not required.
