School IT Technician

Location: Todmorden
Pay Rate: 18- 19 per hour
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Temporary - Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP (subject to Enhanced DBS clearance)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic School IT Technician to join a school in Todmorden on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys working in an educational environment and providing essential technical support to staff and students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to teaching and support staff.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.

  • Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops and other IT equipment.

  • Support classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and audio-visual equipment.

  • Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.

  • Ensure IT systems are running efficiently and securely.

  • Assist with general IT maintenance and technical projects.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in an IT Technician or IT Support role.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
