Recruiting Specialist/Human Resources Generalist

Living Invigorating Valuable Experiences (LIVE, LLC), is a Woman owned, 8(a), and HUBZone certified, both performance driven professional services government contracting companies that provides a broad spectrum of services and solutions to the U.LIVE is seeking a dynamic HR Staffing Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. These positions will support the Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide staffing, strong recruitment, and hiring support to the Department of Justice's HR Services Staff and classifications support team.

Advise management on recruitment strategies, vacancy announcements, appointment authorities, veterans' preference, pass-over and objections, and reduction-in-force procedures. Perform job analyses; Review complex merit staffing cases, including conversion actions and veterans' preference pass-over packages. advise on compensation flexibilities (recruitment, relocation, retention incentives). Conduct training sessions for managers and HR staff on staffing processes and USA Staffing system use.

Minimum 5 years of highly technical federal HR experience specializing in staffing, recruitment, and placement. Thorough knowledge of veterans' preference law, pass-over procedures, and RIF regulations. Experience coding personnel actions in FPPS or equivalent federal HR system. OPM Delegated Examining Unit (DEU) certification. Familiarity with OPM HR Connect or other federal HR shared service platforms. Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
