Job Description
- rong Microsoft Fabric experience, ideally involving a production implementation
- Solid prior background in Apache Spark / distributed data engineering
- Experience with data pipelines, transformation and orchestration
- Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills
- Understanding of Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Factory, notebooks, OneLake and related data engineering capabilities
- Ability to work with an implementation partner and independently assess architecture and technical decisions
- Capable of becoming the internal technical owner of the Fabric environment after implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical leadership
- Microsoft/Azure data platform experience would be highly valuable
- Architecture or platform ownership experience is a plus
