Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise-scale Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across Workday HCM modules, integrations, security, reporting, and business process design, with a proven ability to drive complex HR technology initiatives from conception through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Workday project implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Partner with HR leaders, business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to align business objectives with Workday capabilities.
  • Architect scalable and efficient Workday solutions across multiple functional areas and projects.
  • Facilitate solution design workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive system architectures.
  • Evaluate solution alternatives and clearly communicate recommendations, benefits, and trade-offs.
  • Provide thought leadership on Workday best practices, security frameworks, integrations, reporting, and system optimisation.
  • Review and enhance existing Workday configurations to ensure compliance with standards and improve performance.
  • Stay current with Workday releases, features, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve employee experience through Workday capabilities.
  • Mentor and support junior Workday consultants and functional team members.
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in HR Technology, including 8+ years in Workday Solution Architecture roles.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing Workday solutions across multiple HCM modules.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Workday HCM
    • Business Process Framework
    • Workday Security
    • Reporting (BIRT, Custom Reports)
    • Integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio)
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise Workday implementations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Experience working independently and in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday certifications in relevant functional or technical modules.
  • Experience with Workday migrations, upgrades, and post-implementation optimisation.
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing or automotive industry organisations.
  • Experience mentoring and leading Workday functional teams.
