Job Description

Job Title: Workday Integration Developer
Location: Milwaukee Wisconsin or Fond Du Lac WI
Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Project Overview
Current State

The organization is implementing Workday and moving away from three legacy ERP systems:
  • Viewpoint
  • Dynamics
  • COINS

Implementation Status
  • Currently performing end-to-end testing
  • Planned Workday go-live date: April 2027

Business Need
The team needs support with:
  • Extracting data from Workday
  • Mapping and transforming data
  • Publishing data for business reporting and Power BI consumption
  • Building integrations between Workday and downstream systems
  • Potential future opportunity to build reports directly within Workday
  • Retrieving and exposing Workday data through integrations

Key Point
  • Candidate does not need experience with the legacy ERP platforms
  • Strong Workday integration experience is the primary focus

Team Structure
ERP Program Team
  • 2 Architects assigned to the program
  • 5 Business Analysts / Business team members
  • Approximately 30 people total on the broader team
  • Workday implementation partner/vendor is handling process development

Organizational Context
  • Legacy IT organization is being built up to support Workday after go-live
  • Current architects are learning Workday during the implementation
  • Team members have received approximately two months of Workday training

Job Description:

An experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations with internal and third-party systems. The developer should have strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, Workday APIs, REST/SOAP web services, XML, XSLT/XPath, reporting, and calculated fields. Experience with Workday HCM and Financials, data conversion, integration testing, production support, and enterprise system integrations is highly preferred.
