Senior Analytics Program Manager

Location: Remote (OR, WA, ID, UT, ND)

Role Overview

This position oversees the development, implementation, and management of analysis and decision support systems that improve the effectiveness of departmental activities. The role involves planning, directing, and providing expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and the development of analytic tools. This person will provide leadership on analysis processes, design, and strategies, and will partner with stakeholders to ensure delivery on the analytic needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products or solutions that meet user, business, and stakeholder needs.
• Create, maintain, and communicate the roadmap for services or products owned by the team.
• Ensure strategic initiatives are prioritized and escalate conflicts as needed.
• Drive user story review and clarification sessions with teams.
• Rationalize technical requirements and business priorities in cross-functional teams.
• Manage work efforts and communications to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Serve as the interface between the team and stakeholders.
• Create user stories and tasks for the team, and prioritize and groom the backlog.
• Proactively recommend courses of action to maintain the delivery lifecycle, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive delivery and outcomes through effective planning, task definition, and scope management.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of technical program management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of database technology, tools, and approaches.
• Ability to apply and interpret quantitative data for decision-making.
• Advanced skills in data analysis applications (e.g., SAS, MS Excel), data extraction languages (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to develop rigorous research and statistical methodology.
• Proven leadership skills and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare.
• A Scrum Master Certification is preferred.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
