Job Description

Biotech company located in the Los Angeles area is looking for an Assistant Finance Director. The Assistant Finance Director will be responsible for handling and overseeing the day to day financial functions for the company. Duties include fiscal budget management, strategic analysis, management, executive reporting, financial statement analysis, investment planning, and budget planning.

The Assistant Finance Director will also consolidate and prepare fiscal budgets, conduct financial modeling, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analyze revenue, prepare forecasting reports, ensure efficient financial policies and procedures are adhered to, as well as work closely with the executive management on various matters. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is needed. CPA and/or MBA are extremely preferred. Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is required. Proven leadership in fiscal budget consolidation and preparation experience.

Big 4 experience is ideal. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential. Must have strong technical / systems skills. Pay, $170,000 - 190,000.
