Finance Manager - Financial Accounting

A growing software company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with executive leadership and help guide the organization through its next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a finance leader who enjoys working closely with business leaders to drive decision-making, improve operational performance, and build scalable financial processes.

The CFO will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership while overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and overall financial strategy. We are open to accomplished finance leaders who have served as CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar leadership roles and are ready to lead a growing organization's finance function.

Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes
Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to evaluate business performance and support strategic decision-making
Develop and monitor key SaaS and operational metrics, including recurring revenue, retention, customer acquisition efficiency, profitability, and growth trends
Create financial models and business cases to support investment decisions, resource allocation, and growth initiatives
Improve financial reporting, analytics, systems, and processes to support continued growth
Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Success, and other functional teams
Oversee cash flow planning, financial controls, and risk management activities
Support strategic initiatives, partnerships, and corporate development activities as needed
Provide leadership and mentorship across the finance and accounting functions
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or strategic finance
Experience supporting a software, SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue business model
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills
Experience presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Prior experience as a CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance, or senior finance leader
Experience within a private equity-backed, investor-backed, or high-growth business
CPA, MBA, or related professional credentials
Experience scaling finance processes within a growing organization
Delivering accurate forecasting and actionable financial insights
Establishing scalable financial processes and reporting capabilities
Driving data-informed decision-making across the organization
Serving as a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership
Supporting sustainable growth through disciplined financial management
