Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Analyst III Senior to support enterprise Health Information Management (HIM), Coding, and Abstracting applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Epic experience, an Epic HIM Coding and Abstracting certification, and a solid understanding of healthcare coding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, configure, and optimize Epic HIM Coding and Abstracting workflows.
  • Partner with HIM, coding, clinical, revenue cycle, and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Configure and maintain Epic applications to improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support to end users.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, implementations, enhancements, and new functionality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Epic; 7+ years preferred.
  • Epic Certification Health Information Management, Coding and Abstracting.
  • Hands-on experience with Epic HIM, Coding, and Abstracting applications.
  • Experience with Epic application configuration, workflow analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Healthcare or hospital experience.
