Compensation- $ 80.00 per hour W2 then convert after 1 year at $ 170,000 annual salary plus benefits.  

We are seeking a highly technical, senior-level Product/AI Platform Manager to join our internal Platform Team. In this role, you will not just manage a single AI product; instead, you will own the strategy and execution for an entire ecosystem-a suite of multiple AI products, agents, and use cases built upon a centralized platform that powers our enterprise operations.
Your "clients" are internal, highly technical employee teams. You will act as a true Product Manager embedded within the platform team, driving backlog planning, roadmapping, and sprint releases to scale our internal AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Execute AI Strategy: Own and execute the product roadmap for a large-scale enterprise AI platform, managing multiple interconnected products and stemming use cases (e.g., advanced chatbots, automated workflows, AI integrations).
Product Ownership: Lead backlog grooming, user story creation, sprint planning, and release management in a fast-paced environment.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with internal technical teams and developers to understand their needs, translating complex technical requirements into scalable platform features.
Agile Delivery: Champion Agile methodologies to ensure continuous, high-quality delivery of platform enhancements.
This position is a 12 month contract to hire position, offering career stability and growth with a leading healthcare payor organization. Although this position is primarily remote, 2 monthly meetings do occur at our client's office in Reston VA.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of dedicated Product Management / Product Ownership experience.
Enterprise AI Expertise: Extensive, multi-year track record working with AI technologies. You must have experience supporting a large organization with a matrixed platform of AI products (experience managing a single AI agent or working in a small startup environment will not suffice).
Agile Frameworks: Strong practical background working within Agile, SAFe, or Kanban environments (certifications are a plus but not required).
Tools: Deep, hands-on proficiency with JIRA for backlog and sprint management.
Preferred Qualifications
Hand-on exposure or familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud environments.
Prior experience in the Healthcare Insurance Industry
