Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Position Summary
HgP is seeking a Technical Writer to develop, edit, maintain, and publish technical and operational documentation supporting USCP OIS. The Technical Writer will work with subject matter experts and project teams to produce accurate, clear, consistent documentation aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and maintain manuals, guides, training materials, reports, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather, validate, and organize technical information.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.
• Support document reviews, revisions, version control, and publishing processes.
• Interface with the Document Workflow System to route documents through required reviews and sign-offs.
• Coordinate document updates and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Support preparation of project, program, transition, and operational deliverables.
• Maintain organized documentation and support timely completion of required deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of technical writing and desktop publishing experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft Office/document production experience.
