Job Description

Kohler is seeking a Technical Writer to craft clear, accurate documentation for our manufacturing-driven portfolio of products and systems. In this role, you will translate complex engineering and production concepts into user-friendly manuals, guides, and procedures for technicians, customers, and internal teams. Partnering closely with engineers, product managers, and plant personnel, you'll gather technical information, create structured content, and maintain an organized documentation library. Responsibilities

  • Create clear, accurate technical documentation, manuals, and guides for Kohler manufacturing products and systems
  • Translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into user-friendly content for varied audiences
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and manufacturing teams to gather and validate technical information
  • Maintain and update documentation libraries to reflect product changes, standards, and compliance needs
  • Ensure documentation meets brand, safety, and regulatory requirements for global markets
  • Use documentation and content management tools to publish and version-control materials
  • Support training and customer-facing materials with clear visuals, schematics, and process descriptions
  • Incorporate feedback from users, technicians, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve documentation
