SAP Joule Expert – SAP on RISE 

An SAP Joule Expert for SAP on RISE leads integration, configuration, and optimization of SAP''''s generative AI co-pilot within RISE with SAP cloud environments. This role bridges enterprise AI capabilities with core ERP processes, using tools like Joule Studio and the RISE method framework to accelerate cloud transformation. 

Role Overview & Objectives 

• Lead AI Integration: Implement and configure SAP Joule across RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public/Private) landscapes. 

• Drive Clean Core Strategy: Ensure AI extensions and custom agents align with SAP Clean Core principles. 

• Optimize Workflows: Leverage natural language processing and custom agents to streamline business and consulting processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Deployment & Setup: Activate and configure Joule services via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), connecting Identity & Access Management (IAS/IPS). 

• Agent Customization: Build and orchestrate domain-specific AI agents and skills using Joule Studio within SAP Build. 

• Methodology Alignment: Use Joule''''s guidance embedded in the RISE with SAP methodology to support enterprise architects and project stakeholders. 

• Security & Governance: Define data access policies, manage generative AI hub governance, and oversee audit logs. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Core Expertise: Deep knowledge of RISE with SAP architecture and S/4HANA Cloud environments. 

• AI & BTP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and SAP CAP. 

• Process Understanding: Strong grasp of end-to-end enterprise processes (Finance, Supply Chain, HCM) and Fiori UI integration. 

• Extensibility: Familiarity with side-by-side extensibility and custom ABAP/CDS code environments.
