Business Systems Analyst – Asset Management Middle Office & Reconciliation.

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Austin, TX / Southlake, TX – Hybrid, 3 days onsite/week; onsite from Day 1

Required Skills

• Strong Business Systems Analyst experience in financial services, asset management, investment operations, or fintech.
• Hands-on Asset Management Middle Office & Reconciliation experience.
• Strong knowledge of cash, position, and transaction reconciliation, exception/break management, root-cause analysis, tolerances, aging, and controls.
• Strong understanding of investment data: trades, positions, cash, securities, pricing, corporate actions, and reference data.
• Excellent SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, process mapping, data mapping, testing, and technical specifications.
• Experience working with engineering, QA, data, architecture, and vendor teams.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or analytics for anomaly detection, exception classification, break prioritization, and automation.
• Reporting/analytics experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar.

Preferred: VestmarkONE, SmartStream, Aladdin, Advent Portfolio Exchange, cloud data platforms, APIs, Python, or workflow automation.
