Position Overview

KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support applications for NYS OASAS. The role involves stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis and management, process documentation, and user acceptance testing. Experience with healthcare applications, Salesforce OmniStudio, and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions is requested.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document stakeholder business needs.

• Facilitate requirements workshops, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, interviews, and structured walkthroughs.

• Create user stories, As-Is and To-Be process documentation, and functional and nonfunctional requirements.

• Develop context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, wireframes, report specifications, and user interface specifications.

• Manage requirements traceability, baselines, and change control throughout the requirements lifecycle.

• Create test plans and test cases, coordinate defect resolution with development teams, and support users during UAT.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on healthcare and Salesforce application initiatives.

Client-Requested Qualifications

• 84 months of experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs using techniques such as JAD sessions, requirements elicitation sessions, interviews, user stories, and As-Is/To-Be documents and diagrams, and converting findings into verified and validated functional and nonfunctional requirements for development.

• 84 months of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts, including context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specifications, wireframes, user interface specifications, and nonfunctional requirements specifications.

• 84 months of experience facilitating requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and structured walkthroughs, using effective communication to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed, and met.

• 72 months of experience creating test plans and test cases, managing defects with development teams, and working with users on User Acceptance Testing.

• 72 months of experience managing requirements throughout the Requirements Management Lifecycle, including creating and executing a Requirements Management Plan, maintaining traceability, establishing baselines, and managing change control.

• 36 months of experience working on healthcare applications, including patient records, billing and finance, or human resources.

• 24 months of experience with Salesforce OmniStudio and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification or Salesforce Administrator/Developer certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.

Work Location

This position requires in-person work in Albany, NY. Candidates must be able to meet the onsite requirement. Any necessary relocation arrangements and expenses are the candidate’s responsibility.
