Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Infrastructure Services

Location: Oakland County, Michigan
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Minimum 2 days onsite per week
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support IT infrastructure projects and business process improvements across networking, server infrastructure, workstation services, Microsoft 365, telecommunications, and IT service operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, Microsoft 365, and data analytics, along with strong requirements gathering, technical documentation, testing, and stakeholder coordination skills. The candidate must be capable of independently managing assignments and ensuring project deliverables meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, system requirements, and operational workflows across IT infrastructure and service teams.

• Support ServiceNow integrations involving Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB Discovery, and Webex.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform data analysis, reporting, and interpretation to support business decisions and system improvements.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, system functionality, and operational efficiency.

• Develop and execute test plans, validate system functionality, and support technology implementations.

• Collaborate with networking, server, workstation, telecommunications, and IT service center teams.

• Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and process guidelines.

• Provide user training, technical guidance, and post-implementation support.

• Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contract documentation, scopes of work, and deliverable definitions.

• Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet established timelines, requirements, and quality standards.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, particularly Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB Discovery, and Webex.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 productivity tools.

• Experience in data analytics, data interpretation, and reporting.

• Strong business systems analysis skills, including requirements gathering and technical documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver assignments on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM).

• Experience preparing RFPs and supporting procurement activities.

• Familiarity with contract management, scopes of work, and project deliverables.

• Background supporting IT infrastructure services, including networking, servers, workstations, VoIP, and IT service centers.

• Experience with system implementations, testing, and business process improvement initiatives.
