Job Description

AWS Connect Domain Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Configuration & Support
  • Support the Architect in translating call flow, queue, and routing designs into working AWS Connect configurations
  • Build and maintain contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and contact attributes per Architect-approved designs
  • Assist with configuration of Amazon Lex bots and Lambda functions for Conversational IVR under Architect guidance
  • Document configuration details as input to Architecture Decision Records maintained by the Architect
  • Flag configuration constraints or platform limitations discovered during build-out to the Architect
  • Implementation & Configuration
  • Execute day-to-day AWS Connect MACDs under Architect direction and sign-off
  • Configure and test agent hierarchies, whisper flows, prompts, and queue assignments
  • Support configuration and monitoring of Voice ID, Wisdom, and Contact Lens features as directed
  • Execute Terraform / CloudFormation deployments from Architect-approved templates; apply required resource tags
  • Log and track all changes in EDD JIRA workflows; coordinate with DevOps on deployment windows
  • Perform unit testing of contact flows and integrations prior to handoff for UAT
