Solutions Architect (AI, Azure & Modern Web Technologies)

Location: Campbell, CA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Solutions Architect to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and AI-enabled enterprise solutions across client global technology platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with architectural leadership to deliver modern cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations, and AI-powered capabilities that support critical business functions.

The ideal candidate is a technology leader with extensive experience in React, Next.js, C#/.NET, Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture. In addition to strong engineering capabilities, the successful candidate will embrace AI-assisted software development, leveraging tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and other coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET, and Web API.
• Build secure, high-performance enterprise applications supporting business-critical workflows.
• Develop reusable UI components, shared libraries, and enterprise design systems.
• Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with software engineering best practices.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Build highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud applications using Azure PaaS services.
• Implement secure networking, identity management, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
• Establish end-to-end observability using:
• Azure Application Insights
• OpenTelemetry
• Distributed tracing
• Structured logging
• Monitoring and alerting

Architecture & Integration

• Contribute to enterprise architecture strategy and technical roadmaps.
• Design RESTful and event-driven integration architectures.
• Build scalable microservices and micro-frontend solutions.
• Architect enterprise applications using:
• Next.js App Router
• Next.js Zones
• Webpack Module Federation
• Nx/Turborepo monorepo architecture
• Define integration patterns that support enterprise-scale workloads and cross-platform interoperability.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Design and develop AI-enabled applications and intelligent business workflows.
• Implement AI capabilities including:
• Prompt Engineering
• Large Language Model (LLM) integrations
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI-powered business automation
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as:
• Claude Code
• Codex
• GitHub Copilot
• Other AI coding assistants
• Apply spec-driven development methodologies to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
• Evaluate and operationalize AI models, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI solutions.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure software development practices aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Design solutions incorporating:
• OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Data encryption at rest and in transit
• Privacy and data protection controls
• Audit logging and compliance requirements
• Ensure adherence to secure SDLC practices and organizational governance standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through architecture guidance, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, Implementation, and Client Success teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across software development, testing, deployment, and operational excellence.
• Promote engineering standards, architectural consistency, and technical innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of professional experience designing and delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Strong expertise in:
• React.js
• Next.js
• TypeScript
• JavaScript
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Extensive backend development experience with:
• C#
• ASP.NET Core
• .NET
• Web API
• MVC Frameworks
• Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Enterprise Architecture
• Design Patterns
• Distributed Systems
• Performance Optimization
• Security Architecture
• Experience building applications within highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
• Deep understanding of secure SDLC practices and enterprise software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and agentic engineering workflows.
• Demonstrated success integrating AI capabilities into production-grade enterprise applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar AI frameworks.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) are highly desirable.
