Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead enterprise IT projects and large-scale hardware deployment/refresh initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, stakeholder communication, vendor management, and enterprise IT operations experience, preferably within Texas state agencies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading hardware deployment or enterprise refresh programs.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery coordination, and change management.
• Experience managing enterprise IT operations and complex technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Excel
  • SharePoint
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Standard OAG workflow tools
• Ability to coordinate project schedules, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Experience planning and coordinating large-scale device deployments involving 800+ devices.
• Strong understanding of deployment logistics, scheduling, inventory coordination, stakeholder communications, and implementation planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification.
• Experience working with Texas state agencies.
• Prior experience supporting statewide IT initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise technology deployments and refresh programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT project planning and execution.
• Manage hardware deployment and enterprise refresh initiatives.
• Coordinate vendors, technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide clear executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate logistics for large-scale deployments across multiple locations.
• Ensure projects follow established SDLC, Agile, PMBOK, change management, and organizational processes.
• Support statewide IT deployment activities and coordinate implementation timelines.
• Ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
