HR Manager

US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, is seeking an HR Manager for our Livermore, CA distribution center. In this fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you will lead HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management for warehouse and transportation teams. You'll ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws, support safety and workers' compensation programs, guide leaders on coaching and corrective action, manage HRIS data and reporting, and champion a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement while partnering with leaders to develop talent and drive engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations for the Livermore distribution center
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and orientation for warehouse and transportation roles
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California employment laws and company policies
• Partner with safety team on workers' compensation and safety-related initiatives
• Administer HRIS transactions, reporting, and HR metrics to support business decisions
• Oversee benefits, leave administration, and time and attendance accuracy
• Coach frontline leaders on HR best practices, engagement, and talent development
• Support training, development, and succession planning initiatives
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
