About the Role
The Manager has a strong understanding of all major cyber security domain, allowing them to use their deep theoretical understanding within Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead security teams to deliver complex cross-practice or work package projects. This is achieved by providing direction, mentoring and quality control to consultants as part of engagement teams, and through building client trust by communicating with influence, demonstrating excellence in planning and execution, and applying deep security knowledge.
The Manager actively contributes throughout the client engagement life cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to delivery and closure. In addition, the Manager actively supports the ongoing management of client relationships and the identification of flow through opportunities for all CyberCX service lines.
KeyRoles&Responsibilities
- Work with our customer base to assist them in identifying and effectively managing security risks
- Lead a team to deliver security projects work package with team members in the Governance, Risk and Compliance domain and within cross-practice engagements
- Prepare and present high-quality reports detailing security issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions
- Lead, mentor and build high performing teams in complex deliveries. Understand what each team members skills are, to provide guidance in developing delivery excellence
- Contribute to the development of customer relationships through direct customer support and working with Customer Sales, Customer Solutions and Marketing teams to support relevant activities
- Demonstrate strong alignment with CyberCX values to peers and customers
- Actively collaborate across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value
- Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Experience across major security frameworks, including NIST, ISM, PCI DSS, Essential Eight and PSPF
- At least one major security certification (CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO LA/LI)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with a diverse range of Information, Communications & Technology projects and challenges, preferably over a number of industry domains
- Diplomatic, tactful, and empathic stakeholder engagement and communication skills that enable them to actively contribute to the development of customer relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build sustainable, scalable solutions and processes to meet complex operational problems
- A high performing and proficient consultant with a deep theoretical understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance domain that allows them to perform complex projects independently
- Diploma level or higher tertiary qualification in Information, Communications & Technology or other fields with experience
- Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
- Attention to detail, proactive and organised individual
