Reporting to the Talent Manager, the HR Coordinator will be fully immersed in all areas of our hiring, recruitment and our onboarding processes. You will be responsible for the logistical support for and being a key anchor for the recruitment team. Specifically, you will initiate candidate screening, posting of our positions, and work with hiring managers with coordinating candidate interviews.
In this role, you will utilize all resources (technology and AI) to streamline and automate hiring processes. Key Qualities needed for this role:
You enjoy working with lots of people, in a fast-paced environment supporting lite sourcing, candidate screening, and onboarding new hires. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and can multiple tasks/projects and work within a team structure. This position will work collaborate across the hiring to ensure support is provided from initiating and following up on operational Zendesk tickets, tracking recruitment processes and candidate screening/outcomes.
Will support the Talent Manager with all activity tied to recruitment. Specifically, ensuring our jobs are posted in the ATS, work with hiring managers to schedule candidate interviews, and with an eye on details, continually update our job postings across different sites to promote and/or accelerate candidate flow. Be able to post internal job postings to staff, refresh job boards and update recruitment tracking sheet to ensure updates are recorded in a timely fashion.
Monitoring our ATS, update each posting with an unique screening questions; ensure interviewing packets, interview feedback and candidate materials are received and delivered in a timely fashion. You are able to create an excellent candidate experience which includes timely updates on hiring/interviewing status when applicable. Work in partnership with the training team to scheduleand facilitate onboarding of new hires.
You will create and distribute new hire itineraries and ensure key touch points for all facets of onboarding (IT, Operations and training) are integrated seamlessly into new hire schedules. Be able to follow up with new hires on background and reference checks; and assist new employees with new hire documents, to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion. Using Zendesk, ensure the timely execution of new hire onboarding processes. This includes the collection and/or distribution of new hire paperwork collection.
Provide culturally relevant and responsive support to all employees while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with internal policies and procedures
Experience as a HR or Talent Coordinator, Job Developer or directly working on a hiring team. At least 3 years of work experience with HR administration, processes and talent management. Proven customer service skills and enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to a diverse population of candidates and staff. Experience working with ATS systems such as Lever or Bamboo.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ATS, and HRIS systems (ADP, Bamboo, Lever). Ability to work on a computer and see details of objects at close range. Ability to hear within normal range, and communicate effectively (in person, telephone or Zoom). Finger dexterity and the ability to use all standard office equipment. and the ability to navigate throughout office spaces (via elevator or stairs). This is a fulltime (40 hour/week), non-exempt role. GLIDE maintains an "open door" policy to the community and its clients, who frequently enter and leave the building.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
