Pay Range: $55- $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support large-scale distributed messaging platforms.
• Manage software installation, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop automation using AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide operational support for platform issues to application development teams.
• Address performance and scalability challenges posed by Kafka producers and consumers.
• Work independently on day-to-day monitoring and operations of cloud and legacy applications.
• Collaborate in an agile global team setting to implement best practices and security measures.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 6 to 12 years of experience in middleware Kafka messaging, application platforms management, and distributed architecture/solutions.
• Strong, proven experience in managing RabbitMQ and Kafka for large-scale enterprise distributed systems.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Client, and Dynatrace.
• Deep knowledge in configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Python, shell scripts, and configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
• Practical experience using AI-powered development and engineering tools to improve productivity.
• Experience in applying Generative AI/Agentic AI to infrastructure operations or software development workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted observability, incident management, operational analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes Container Orchestration and Docker Containers.
• Experience in messaging/streaming platforms like Client MQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Flink, etc.
