Direct Counsel is seeking a
Real Estate / Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join a prestigious global law firm's highly regarded Real Estate practice in Pittsburgh. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with 4–6 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions.

The successful candidate will work on high-value acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, financing, and other complex real estate matters while collaborating with experienced attorneys on a national and global platform. ResponsibilitiesCommercial Real Estate Transactions
Handle a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and joint ventures. Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related transaction agreements.

Assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, and closing coordination. Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to clients throughout all stages of a transaction. Due Diligence & Risk Analysis
Conduct comprehensive reviews of title, survey, zoning, lease, and other real estate due diligence materials. Identify legal, financial, and operational risks affecting commercial real estate transactions. Prepare due diligence reports and develop practical risk mitigation strategies. Transaction Management & Client Service
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on active matters.

Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, consultants, title companies, and other transaction participants. Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and ensuring high-quality work product. Mentor junior attorneys and support the development of collaborative deal teams. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Pennsylvania bar admission or eligibility for admission.
4–6 years of commercial real estate and/or real estate finance experience at a law firm. Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate transaction documents.

Strong understanding of title, survey, zoning, leasing, financing, and property rights. Experience managing sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing. Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Collaborative mindset with demonstrated leadership potential. Compensation & Benefits
