Job Description

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Plano, TX/ San Antonio, TX/ Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12+ months contract

Mode of Work: ONSITE

Rate: $60-65/hr on W2 without benefits

We are seeking experienced Business Analyst Leads to support a high-visibility banking initiative focused on building automated testing and continuous monitoring capabilities across retail banking products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build reusable data products that support multiple regulatory testing use cases.
  • Analyze complex regulations and determine the underlying data required to validate compliance.
  • Create foundational analytical datasets including transactional, APR, customer, and demographic data products.
  • Design and implement automated monitoring processes for regulatory testing.
  • Develop SQL-based scripts and analytical solutions to evaluate large populations of customer and transaction data.
  • Partner with testing teams and vendors to support implementation of automated testing solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical requirements and identify the appropriate data sources needed for execution
  • Document current-state and future-state processes

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in regulatory analytics, forensic analytics, compliance testing, audit analytics, risk analytics, or similar disciplines.
  • Advanced SQL experience with the ability to perform complex data discovery, analysis, and script development.
  • Strong SAS experience for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience gathering complex business requirements and translating ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks.
  • Experience building reusable analytical assets and data products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working under aggressive timelines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with retail banking or financial services with strong understanding of credit card products and lifecycles
