Job Title: Business Analyst with Investment Banking

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in investment banking and financial services. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project managers to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of banking technology solutions.

The ideal candidate should have experience in capital markets, investment banking operations, financial products, and business requirements documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
• Analyze investment banking processes, workflows, and operational requirements.
• Support projects related to capital markets, securities, trade processing, and financial products.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process improvement.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve business and functional issues.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Prepare status reports, maintain project documentation, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in investment banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of capital markets and investment banking operations.
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, bonds, derivatives, and securities.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, trade settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, and defect management.
