Position : SCM Project Manager / Technical Program Manager
Location : Remote
Duration : 6 Months
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SCM Project Manager / Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving supply chain operations, physical infrastructure, hardware lifecycle management, and logistics.
The ideal candidate will have strong program management skills and experience coordinating engineering, procurement, sourcing, warehouse/logistics, construction/facilities, security, and business teams. This role requires experience managing physical assets and infrastructure programs rather than purely software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Program Management
  • Lead complex, multi-team technical initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, priorities, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Manage program risks, dependencies, issues, and overall delivery tracking.
  • Drive successful execution across programs involving physical infrastructure, hardware, or asset lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, Security, and Business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Procurement/Sourcing, Warehouse/Logistics, and Construction/Facilities teams.
  • Drive alignment across teams with competing priorities.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Coordinate with General Contractors and other partners on site logistics in active construction and greenfield environments.
Supply Chain & Physical Asset Operations
  • Manage physical asset lifecycle processes, including:
    • Receiving
    • Secure storage
    • Inventory control
    • Issue and installation logistics
    • RMA processes
  • Ensure proper chain-of-custody and physical asset tracking.
  • Support tamper-evident handling and physical security/compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate hardware logistics and asset movement across active sites.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Support customer and regulatory audits by maintaining documented evidence trails.
  • Understand hardware and data integrity concepts such as:
    • Chain of custody
    • Remote attestation
    • Hardware decommissioning
    • Data sanitization standards such as NIST SP 800-88
  • Translate compliance and security requirements into program requirements and ensure teams meet them.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Define program KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics.
  • Use data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze operational performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Define and track SLA-based metrics such as:
    • Replenishment time
    • Break-fix resolution windows
    • Vendor performance
  • Hold internal teams and vendors accountable to established KPIs and SLAs.
Communication & Executive Presence
  • Present complex technical and operational concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prepare executive reviews, program status reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Provide clear visibility into program progress, risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Program Management / Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-team technical initiatives.
  • Experience managing programs involving physical infrastructure, hardware, supply chain, or asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Security, and Business teams.
  • Experience with physical asset lifecycle processes and logistics.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance requirements, and documented evidence trails.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience defining and managing KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in active construction/greenfield environments.
