Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Angular Developer / Technical Lead for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java 21, Spring Boot, Angular/React, Oracle, NoSQL databases, Kafka, and DevOps/CI/CD practices. Candidates with prior experience in the banking or financial services industry are highly preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end full stack applications using Java 17/21+, Spring Boot, and Angular/React.

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integrations.

• Define backend and frontend architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.

• Develop responsive and high-performance UI components using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, or React.

• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.

• Work with Oracle and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize queries.

• Implement automated unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment processes.

• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, performance, logging, and monitoring.

• Conduct code reviews, technical design reviews, and mentor development teams.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and platform teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Java 21 and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.

• Angular or React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.

• Oracle Database.

• NoSQL databases.

• Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.

• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Git and version control.

• REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Automated testing, application security, and performance optimization.

• Technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.

• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
