Lead Java Developer

Introduction:

We are seeking a talented Lead Java Developer to join our team. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications. You will play a key role in driving the technical direction of projects and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the codebase.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Java applications with other systems
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Java applications
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in Java development

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Proven experience leading a team of developers
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks
• Good understanding of web services (SOAP and REST)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Certifications in Java development
