Are you an experienced Presales Solutions Architect looking to join an established and highly respected UK IT Solutions Provider specialising in Network Infrastructure, Connectivity and Cyber Security?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced Presales team, working closely with Sales, Technical Delivery and customers to design and deliver complex networking and security solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Network & Security Presales Solutions Architect, you'll play a key role throughout the customer engagement life cycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to solution design, technical proposals and successful handover to delivery teams.

You'll combine strong networking knowledge with excellent communication and consultancy skills, helping customers understand their options and designing solutions that meet their technical and commercial requirements.

You'll be involved in customer meetings, solution presentations, bids, tenders and strategic discussions, helping the business win new opportunities and develop existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales teams and customers to understand technical requirements, business challenges and desired outcomes.
• Design and present networking, connectivity and security solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Fortinet and associated technologies.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), technical proposals and solution documentation.
• Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), including hardware, software, licensing and professional services.
• Support bids, tenders, RFIs and RFPs, providing technical expertise and written responses.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer workshops, solution presentations and vendor demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and customer outcomes.
• Support existing customers with technical reviews, solution enhancements and future technology requirements.
• Build strong relationships with technology vendors, maintaining awareness of product developments, roadmaps and emerging solutions.
• Contribute to the development of new propositions and technical capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical experience across enterprise networking, infrastructure and connectivity.
• Experience designing and/or implementing LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and network security solutions.
• Knowledge of technologies from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper and Palo Alto Networks.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Solid background in network architecture, routing, switching, Firewalls and secure connectivity.
• Producing technical documentation, solution designs and Bills of Materials.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Position complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within an MSP, IT Solutions Provider, Systems Integrator or customer-facing technical consultancy environment.
