The Role

• Develop and manage robust procurement strategies for a major 10-year+ investment programme.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and liabilities within procurement and contract strategies.
• Create and oversee procurement plans to align with stakeholder requirements.
• Provide expert commercial and supply chain support to delivery programmes.
• Lead supplier negotiations, focusing on commercial aspects to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Input into bidding activities to ensure budget alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in supply chain/commercial roles within the infrastructure and construction industry, with a focus on major project procurement.
• Experience leading procurements for design and manufacture/build based on specifications.
• Strong understanding of business and procurement methodologies, processes, and strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in contract and supplier performance management.
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external professional partners.
