Site Engineer

SITE ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join our Airports and Specialised Pavements team, supporting the delivery of an exciting specialised pavement project.

This is a hands-on engineering role providing technical and quality support across site construction activities. Working closely with the Project Engineer and broader project team, you will help coordinate works, monitor construction performance and ensure project requirements are achieved safely and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities across the project.
• Monitor construction performance, progress and work programs.
• Interpret designs and support their implementation on site.
• Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of project delivery.
• Assist with site construction budgets, reporting, claims and variations.
• Support the coordination and performance of subcontractors.
• Assist with ITPs, lot management, NCRs, RFIs and other quality documentation.
• Prepare progress and compliance reporting.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support Zero Harm, safety, environmental and quality requirements across site activities.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor of Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience within the construction industry.
• Project planning and construction delivery experience.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Understanding of construction quality and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident communication skills and ability to build relationships across site teams and stakeholders.

• Experience within civil construction, roads, asphalt, surfacing or paving will be highly regarded.
