We are committed to creating great teams doing innovative work and would love you to join us to Impact the Future.
Our team is growing. We need experienced Water Sensity Urban Design (WSUD) & Construction Quality Assurance Engineers (CQA) with a minimum of 7 year’s experience to join our Brisbane based Flood, Stormwater and Waterway Management team.
About the Role
- Planning, development, and design for civil and multi-disciplinary projects including stormwater drainage systems, detention basins, bioretention systems, wetlands, stormwater harvesting ponds, open channels and waterways.

- Develop and review design documentation including design reports, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ’s and cost estimates.
- Balanced split between office and local site-based works.
- Train and support early career engineers on projects.
- Participate in client management, business development and proposal writing.
About You
- A tertiary Engineering degree (essential).

- Good knowledge and application of Local Government standards and water by design standards.
- Knowledge and application of stormwater engineering, hydrological theory, Australian rainfall and runoff and water hydraulics.

- You enjoy flexibility, accountability and professionalism.
- You recognise the key attributes of an engineering professional and have invested in these for yourself – you can think laterally and can communicate well.
The Benefits
- Competitive remuneration and benefits.
- A structured learning and development framework to align with career progression goals.
- Brisbane CBD location with flexible working arrangements, including remote working options.
- An inclusive team culture that celebrates performance and rewards accordingly.
- Paid Primary and Secondary Carer Leave Policy, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance.
- Support structures like our Employee Assistance Program, professional mentoring, and buddy program for new starters.
- Opportunities to work on special interest projects.
- Opportunities to work across government, private and resource sectors.
- Opportunities to travel for work across multiple offices.
- Great cultural environment where teamwork and camaraderie are promoted and valued.
- Supportive leadership based on openness.
Egis is committed to creating an inclusive, creative culture that embraces diversity and flexibility. We offer generous parental leave, support flexible work practices and strive to create an environment where employees can connect, collaborate, grow and succeed.
We are expanding in Australia and New Zealand and are excited for you to join our growing team.
