Job Description

We need a MES Implementation Engineer with good experience in manufacturing systems, industrial digitalization, automation, or production technology. The Implementation Engineer will support deployment and stabilization of Manufacturing Execution System solutions at production facilities. The role serves as the on-site bridge between the central MES project team, manufacturing operations, engineering, IT/OT teams, and solution vendors. The primary focus is practical shop-floor implementation, requirements
clarification, integration coordination, testing, user readiness, go-live support, and repeatable rollout documentation

Qualifications
Mandatory hands-on experience implementing, supporting, or enhancing MES solutions in a live manufacturing
environment.
Practical understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, traceability, quality processes, work
orders, downtime, and shop-floor data collection.
Experience coordinating MES integration with PLC/SCADA and ERP systems, including validation of tags, data
mappings, transactions, and interface behavior.
Experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, defect management, commissioning, go-live,
and hypercare support.
Ability to work directly with production personnel and technical teams, communicate clearly, and manage
implementation issues to closure.
Ability to read process flows, interface specifications, basic control-system information, and manufacturing data
structures.
Willingness to work in a hybrid Houston schedule and travel internationally for short site assignments when required.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Ignition, Kanoa, Auredia, or a comparable MES/MOM platform.
Exposure to JD Edwards or another manufacturing ERP.
Working knowledge of SQL, dashboards, KPI logic, manufacturing analytics, or data validation.
Familiarity with SPC, scheduling, quality monitoring, OEE or performance metrics, and Smart Factory concepts.
Background in instrumentation, controls, automation, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related
discipline.
Experience supporting multi-site deployments and creating reusable rollout templates.

Education
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing
Technology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant industry experience may be considered.
