Cloud Applications Software Engineer

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Cloud Applications Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native solutions that power manufacturing, sales, and support operations. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications supporting manufacturing and enterprise systems
• Implement scalable, secure architectures on major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Integrate cloud services with on-premise systems, ERPs, and data platforms
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and cost in production environments
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and corporate standards
• Troubleshoot complex cloud application issues and provide production support
• Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement, best practices, and technical mentorship
