Active Directory / Azure Identity Engineer
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Plantation, FL | Coral Gables, FL
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite 5 Days per Week
About the Opportunity
We're seeking an Active Directory / Azure Identity Engineer to join a team responsible for the authentication and identity platforms that enable employees to securely access enterprise systems and applications. This role supports critical identity infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments, making it a key contributor to the organization's security and operational reliability.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with Microsoft identity technologies, solving complex authentication challenges, and leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and support enterprise Active Directory environments, including user authentication, directory services, and access management.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) services including:
  • Enterprise Applications
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Conditional Access Policies
  • Identity governance activities
• Support and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authority services.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and identity-related issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and enhance automation solutions using scripting and AI-enabled tools.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to implement and support secure access solutions.
• Assist with system upgrades, maintenance, monitoring, and operational support.
• Document technical processes and support procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Experience administering Active Directory, preferably within large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including:
  • Enterprise Applications
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Conditional Access
• Experience supporting Certificate Authorities and PKI infrastructure.
• Understanding of scripting or programming concepts (PowerShell preferred; other languages considered).
• Experience using automation tools and AI-assisted technologies to improve operational workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Intune administration experience.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience.
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting hybrid identity environments.
• Microsoft certifications related to Azure, Identity, or Active Directory.
