Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Services Assistant             
Location: Nashville, TN – Hybrid  
Duration: 12+ Months
 Position Summary
The client is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant to support the CHS Credentialing Team with administrative and operational activities related to credentialing and recredentialing.
The successful candidate will help maintain accurate provider records, track credentialing activities and deadlines, coordinate documentation, and provide general administrative support to the Credentialing Team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and submitting medical and dental credentialing and recredentialing documentation.
  • Track credentialing submissions, deadlines, expiration dates, statuses, and required follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate provider, facility, and credentialing records and databases.
  • Coordinate the collection of required information and documentation from CHS staff and other stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain credentialing files, correspondence, confirmation records, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with routine credentialing communications and payer updates.
  • Provide administrative support for reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and status updates.
  • Assist the Credentialing Team with special projects and other CHS credentialing-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple credentialing activities, deadlines, and follow-ups.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain and organize confidential records and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common administrative tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Location Requirement
Candidate must be a Tennessee state resident.
All new contractors must be Tennessee residents. Candidates relocating to Tennessee must establish residency before their start date.
Background Verification
Candidates selected for the position will be subject to the required Tennessee Department of Health background verification process, including criminal record, federal, statewide/county, sex offender, address history, global watch, and AKA searches as applicable.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST
37.5 hours per week
