Job Description
As an Electrical Test Engineer with Fluke, you will analyze, develop, implement, and maintain methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for producing new and existing products. You may also assist in the transition of new products introduced to manufacturing for product support, and focus on metrics such as safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and improve test systems throughout the factory.
• Drive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasures of failures.
• Advise design engineering on existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O communication boards for various stations.
• Coordinate design changes for existing stations as per product requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for hardware and software debugging.
• Review test results and analyze test data from the database and improve yields.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of related engineering experience.
• Good understanding of analog- and digital-based circuitry and ability to read schematics.
• Programming language knowledge in one or more of the following: LabVIEW / TestStand, C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Root cause analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results.
• Comfortable working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Experience working in a metric/goal driven environment.
• Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively present information and respond to feedback at any level within the organization.
