The Role

  • Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components, including ventilation systems and internal fittings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using various tools.
  • Produce precise, well-finished work that meets stringent standards and quality expectations.
  • Employ practical problem-solving skills to address manufacturing and installation challenges, ensuring correct fit and safety.
  • Collaborate effectively within a skilled team to maintain a safe working environment and deliver reliable installations.

What You'll Need

  • A recognised Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers, or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, marine, or other practical engineering environments.
  • Understanding of SHE and COSHH requirements, with a commitment to safe working practices.
  • Proficiency in working with engineering drawings to accurately and safely measure, cut, shape, and assemble components.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
