Job Description

The Role • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy surface ships and Submarines/Aircraft Carriers. • Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection. • Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification. • Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems. • Provide installation support for new system upgrades onboard US Navy vessels. • Analyze, trend, and report on diesel engine data, and support logistics, project planning, and training. What You'll Need • BS in Marine Engineering from an ABET institution is required. • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Recent graduates from a Maritime Academy are preferred. • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. • Shipboard experience is desired. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
