U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Plymouth Meeting, PA, United States | Hybrid

The Role
- Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy surface ships and Submarines/Aircraft Carriers.
- Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
- Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification.
- Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
- Provide installation support for new system upgrades onboard US Navy vessels.
- Analyze, trend, and report on diesel engine data, and support logistics, project planning, and training.
What You'll Need
- BS in Marine Engineering from an ABET institution is required.
- Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Recent graduates from a Maritime Academy are preferred.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Shipboard experience is desired.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
