U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Sewell, NJ, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy surface ships and Submarines/Aircraft Carriers.
  • Work alongside program managers, engineers, and Navy personnel.
  • Conduct diesel engine data analysis, trending, and reporting.
  • Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification.
  • Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
  • Provide installation support for new system upgrades.

What You'll Need

  • BS in Marine Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; recent Maritime Academy graduates are preferred.
  • Shipboard experience is desired.
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
