U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Sicklerville, NJ, United States | Hybrid

The Role
- Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators onboard Navy vessels.
- Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
- Perform diesel engine calibration and governor control verification.
- Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
- Provide installation support for new system upgrades.
- Assist with diesel engine data analysis, logistics development, project planning, and training support.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is mandatory.
- Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; recent Maritime Academy graduates are preferred.
- Shipboard experience is desired.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
