Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced People Systems Manager to join a large, complex and highly respected organisation operating across multiple locations and business units. Reporting to the Head of Capability, Diversity & People Systems, this newly evolved role will be responsible for leading the organisation's People Systems strategy, governance framework and technology roadmap.
This is a high-impact position for a commercially minded HR technology leader who can optimise existing platforms while driving innovation, automation and AI-enabled solutions that enhance employee experience, workforce capability and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Own and optimise the People Systems landscape, ensuring platforms, integrations and processes effectively support business objectives.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation and continuous improvement of HR technology solutions, including HRIS, workforce technology and AI-enabled tools.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, automation opportunities and system enhancements across the employee lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks covering system controls, workforce data, privacy, security and compliance requirements.
- Develop and oversee AI governance practices, ensuring responsible adoption, transparency, risk mitigation and human oversight.
- Leverage workforce analytics and insights to support decision-making, business performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage technology vendors and strategic partnerships to maximise service delivery and innovation outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with People & Culture, ICT, Risk and business leaders to deliver scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Detailed experience in People Systems, HRIS, workforce technology, digital transformation or a similar field.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise HR systems, including governance, configuration, optimisation and vendor management.
- Experience leading system implementations, upgrades and transformation projects from planning through to adoption.
- Strong knowledge of workforce data management, reporting, analytics and data governance principles.
- Understanding of privacy, cybersecurity, compliance and information management requirements.
- Exposure to AI-enabled workforce technologies and an appreciation of responsible AI governance principles.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical capability, commercial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset.
