The Role

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use specialized equipment to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Perform pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Coordinate moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
