Fusion Middleware Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fusion Middleware Administrator to support, administer, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware and Enterprise Data Warehouse environments. The role involves system design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop system design and functional specifications based on business and technical requirements.

• Work with functional leads and technical teams to translate requirements into Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.

• Develop and maintain system and technical documentation.

• Document database elements, data values, source systems, and data usage in business-friendly language.

• Review source-system documentation and identify required system or data changes.

• Create and manage change requests for system enhancements.

• Work with managers, senior programmers, support teams, and product managers to plan implementations and system changes.

• Install, configure, integrate, administer, deploy, and support Oracle Fusion Middleware products.

• Maintain, upgrade, and support Oracle WebLogic Server and related Oracle Fusion Middleware components.

• Provide administration and support for Oracle Portal, OBIEE, OID, and OAM.

• Support Oracle Fusion Middleware environments running on Solaris platforms.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application, middleware, and integration issues.

• Test and analyze system and data changes to ensure expected results.

• Perform system testing and support testing during application releases.

• Assist with quality assurance activities and define testing strategies, risks, and validation procedures.

• Support deployment and implementation of system enhancements and releases.

• Assist technical support teams in resolving usability, application, and business-related issues.

• Work with customers, functional teams, and legacy system developers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.

• Analyze resulting data and validate data integrity following system changes.

• Provide production support and troubleshooting for middleware and data warehouse-related issues.

• Ensure systems meet security, operational, and technical requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware administration.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server.

• Experience with OBIEE, Oracle Portal, OID, and OAM.

• Experience administering middleware environments on Solaris/Unix platforms.

• Experience with installation, configuration, integration, deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application and middleware architecture.

• Experience with system testing, release management, and quality assurance.

• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
