We have Contract role R&D Technician for client at Colorado Springs, CO. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Position Details: R&D Technician- Colorado Springs, CO Location : Colorado Springs, CO, United States
Project Duration :2 years contract Pay Rate : $30 - $32 an hour on W2

Job Description: Duties:
As a technician on the team, you will collaborate with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians. You will:

  • Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment
  • Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes
  • Troubleshoot prototypes
  • Run scripts that determine failure modes and communicate this back to the R&D team
  • Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data

Skills:

  • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully
  • Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change
  • Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure
  • Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems
  • Demonstrated strong initiative

Education:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
