Position: TDM Architect/TDM Lead

Locations: REMOTE

Duration: Long Term

 

Rate:

C2C: $60-$64/Hr (Including 6% Processing Fee)

W2: $54/Hr

 

Core Experience & Technical Skills

• 8 to 15 years of proven experience in Test Data Management (TDM), with strong expertise in Broadcom CA TDM and Javelin.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Broadcom CA TDM, including:
  • Using TDM Portal for creating projects, data modeling, data masking, data generation, and self-service design.
  • Experience with Fast Data Masker and exploring advanced masking techniques for data desensitization.
  • Practical use of Data Maker, Data Subsetting, and Javelin workflow design to streamline test data provisioning.
• Expertise in data virtualization and self-service test data provisioning, including:
  • Using data virtualization to optimize test data provisioning and management.
  • Configuring and managing self-service portals and data cloning capabilities.
• Automating test data workflows through REST APIs and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implementing TDM solutions to improve test data availability, compliance, and scalability.
• Experience with diverse structured data sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata, DB2, MongoDB, and cloud storage systems.
• Working knowledge of unstructured data sources, including app server logs and monitoring tools.
• Skilled in synthetic data generation and data masking/obfuscation techniques to protect sensitive information.
• Strong database fundamentals including data modeling, query tuning, and validation to support test data processes.
• Integrating data provisioning with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and broader data pipelines.
• Operationalizing end-to-end data pipelines: intake, processing, reservation, delivery, and restoration.
• Processing scaled real-time data sets for testing.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and integrating TDM activities into DevOps and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with scripting and data mining to enhance and automate TDM workflows.
• Exposure to server management including Docker/containerization for scalable TDM deployments.

 

Strategic and Analytical Skills

• Proven ability to analyze business and technical requirements, evaluate TDM tool fitment, and architect tailored data management and virtualization solutions.
• Performing TDM assessments and collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, strategy, and governance.
• Designing solutions with security, resilience, scalability, and agility aligning with product development needs.
• Knowledge of regulatory and security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA to ensure compliant handling of test data.
• Ability to measure, track, and report on data coverage and quality using KPIs and OKRs.
• Continuous improvement focus to drive enhancements in TDM processes and operational efficiency.

 

Additional / Good to Have Skills

• Understanding of data quality, data dimensions, ETL/ELT, and Big Data concepts.
• Experience with data analytics around discovery, profiling, cleaning, and provisioning.
• Hands-on with server environments and containerization using Docker or similar technologies.
